Chief Sustainability Officer - OCP Group

Hanane Mourchid graduated as a chemical engineer from the Mohammedia engineering school in Morocco in 2006. The same year, she joined a bank as head of the organisation and quality project. In 2007, she joined the OCP Group at the Safi platform as a process improvement engineer and then as an industrial construction project manager. She has also worked on operational change management and lean manufacturing projects. She has been in charge of production units such as phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid and fertiliser plants. In 2017, she became director of Jorf Fertilizer Company V on the Jorf Lasfar platform in Morocco. In 2018, she took up the position of Senior Vice President of OCP's Circular Economy Programme and in July 2019, she became Senior Vice President of OCP's Sustainable Development Platform.  She is now Director of Sustainable Development for the OCP Group.

Hanane Mourchid completed the Executive Development Programme at HEC Paris, received the MIT Executive Education Programme Certificate. In 2017, she completed the MBA at the Africa Business School-Université polytechnique Mohamed VI and holds the Certificates of Business Excellence and Business and Strategy Specialty from Columbia University in New York.
